Coastal continue undefeated with one through to the semis Another great day for soccer saw Coastal teams go undefeated in round robin play for the second day in a row. Our U-13 Girls battled to a 1 - 1 draw against some tough opponents in the form Match Fit Chelsea Academy leaving them needing a win and a favorable result in another game to earn first place in their group and progress to the semi's. Our U13 Boys also drew today in their 0 - 0 game against Indiana Invaders. This leaves them in a tough battle for first place against West Pines United tomorrow at 9:00am. Our U14 Girls, after their two games yesterday played to a 1 - 1 draw against TSF Academy in a rematch of last nights fixture. The U14's are well positioned to clinch first place in their group with a positive result tomorrow. The U16 Girls bracket saw our Coastal team take a 1 - 0 win over Florida Soccer Alliance to set up a tie for first place inthe group with Quickstrike FC, the team they will be playing tomorrow. The U16 Boys earned qualification to the Semi-Finals with a 1 - 0 victory over Parsippany SC. The win secures them first place regardless of tomorrows results based on the head to head tie breaker rule. We wish all of our teams the best for tomorrows fixtures and thank all of the parents for their continued support of the Coastal WFC Player Development program. |
