Coastal WFC would like to congratulate all of our players, coaches, managers and parents on our most successful season to date. As a club, Coastal WFC recorded 48 wins, 13 draws and 21 losses over the course of 82 games. This season Coastal WFC has qualified 5 teams for the prestigious Super Y League North American Finals. This is the largest number of teams we have ever qualified. The Staff at Coastal WFC would like to congratulate the following teams for qualifying for the North American Finals to be held in Tampa, Florida this coming November: U13 Boys - Coached by Michael Perucho (CSA B License and Technical Director for the Tsawwassen Soccer Club) and assisted by John Mantei, these boys went the season with 11 wins and one loss in 12 games recording 28 goals for and 11 against the U13 Boys finished tied for 1st place in their group with 33 points. U13 Girls - Coached by Gregor Young (CSA B License and Technical Director for Point Grey SC and Kerrisdale SC) and assisted by Dennis Kindel the U13 Girls went the season with 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses recording 27 goals for and 10 against. This record earned a first place finish for the U13 Girls in a very competitive division. U14 Girls - Coached by Ajit Braich (CSA A License and Head Coach for the North Delta Youth Soccer Club) and assisted by Jag Sajan the U14 girls went the season with 7 wins, 2 draws and only a single loss in 10 games recording 16 goals for and 5 goals against. The U14 girls earned first place honours in their division with 23 points. U16 Girls - Coached by Mark McQueen (CSA A License, Head Coach of Semiahmoo Soccer Club) and assisted by Ciaran McMahon the U16 Girls went the season with 5 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses recording 18 goals for and 13 goals against. The U16 Girls finished in third place in their division. U16 Boys - Coached by Jason Jordan (CSA B License and Technical Director of Vancouver FC) and assisted by Chris Laxton, the U16 Boys went undefeated the entire season with 11 wins and one draw recording 62 goals for and 6 goals against. The U16 Boys earned first place honours in their division with 34 points out of a possible 36. All of us at Coastal WFC are very proud of the successes of each of our teams and with our 5 representative all the best in November. |
